Psalm 67

"May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face shine on us" v.1
Read chapter 67
A beautiful psalm thats a song played on stringed instruments, most likely harps.  Numbers 6:24-25 is where we first read this.  It begins with a cry, then forgiveness through mercy, then blessing and finally for His face to shine on us.  It starts off as many prayers do and needed of first, a cry asking for forgiveness as of all levels and types of sinners we are to cry out and in need of His mercy and grace.  Then the psalmist asks for a blessing from the Lord.  When we say "Bless the Lord" it's nothing more than words of happiness we give to God, yet we God blesses us it's done by His mighty words.
My favorite part of this line is 'make His face shine upon us.'  That God is looking at us and reflecting who He is upon us that we may reflect Him on others.  Is God's face shining on you?
