Jeremiah 3

And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. “Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the Lord, “that they will say no more, ‘The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ It shall not come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it, nor shall it be made anymore. vv.15-16

Read chapter 3
Will there be remembrance in the Kingdom of God?  That's always a hard question as we don't want to forget people we love that may not enter, or forget this life and experiences we had although there are some areas of our lives I bet everyone wishes they could forget.  Now what's happening here is that when the Lord comes in His kingdom He will choose some to live in Zion to get schooled so-to-say with God's knowledge and understanding.  It says they get fed with knowledge and understanding, truly Jesus will literally be the bread of life as their food source to grow and be healthy in the kingdom.
As time goes on He says they will not remember the ark of the covenant.  Bible teacher Nathan C. Johnson says in his article Remembrance in the Afterlife,
The Ark of the Covenant is not eradicated from people’s memories.  It is mentioned in the Word of God, so it can never be forever forgotten.  But what does happen is that people no longer view it as an object to be looked up to, venerated, honored, and celebrated.  God has removed His presence from the ark, it has ceased to exist, and all customs and laws regarding it have ceased.  People may remember it in their memories, but never will anyone seek to rebuild it or to commemorate it or otherwise celebrate it.  It will have passed off the scene, it will no longer be a part of God’s religious plan for men, and thus it will no longer be remembered.
Is Jesus your daily bread now?  Are you being fed by Him to be wise and discerning in this time before the Kingdom comes?  As you grow and experience relationship with God more you may not forget your past sins, but it will cause you not to desire them again.  How have you or do you desire to experience that?
