A wise man is strong,
Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;
6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
And in a multitude of counselors there is safety. vv.5-6

Who would win in a battle against evil: Spiderman, Batman, or Iron Man? I know nothing about superheroes than their names and special power really, and I don't really have a favorite, but I will say I'm impressed with many qualities when I was looking up about superheroes as I was reading this proverb. Spiderman is only in high school and is a genius, smarter than most superheroes. Iron Man's power is literally the power of knowledge. One blogger wrote about Iron Man, "While Iron Man has more knowledge in Technology and Science, Batman is an all-rounder in everything. He's clever, has great detective skills, good scientific knowledge and has a great IQ too. These all make Batman the smartest superhero of all time." So just as this proverb says in verses five and six a strong man, if wise, is strong indeed. Better is it to be wise than mighty. Being surrounded by others who are wise will help you be wiser. So where does your strength lie? Is it one of wisdom in superhero fantasy or superheroes of the faith? Is it sizing up your muscles to the guy next to you or growing in wisdom to combat the real enemy-Satan?
