Proverbs 25

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. v.2

This is one of my favorite verses in scripture and one I have up on a wall in my living room.  This verse was and continues to be a good challenge to me in reading and studying scripture.  It is God's glory to conceal or hide a matter in His Word.  There are a lot of things plain and obvious what God says about a topic but there are a lot of topics that aren't just black and white to the naked eye and takes studying and searching through the Bible to figure out and understand God's answer.  So it is the glory of kings to search out those answers; to study and find God's answer like it is hidden treasure.  The more we search the more we go in to the depths of buried treasure and discoveries not known to all men.  How sweet it is to discover a hidden waterfall or a buried timecapsul and what it's contained with.  So too the excitement of finding the things God has hidden in His word for us.

So be a king or queen and search out what God has hidden and you will find many precious treasures!
