Genesis 40

"And they said to him, “We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.”  So Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.” v.8

Read chapter 40.
These weren't just ordinary dreams, but ones with symbols that demanded interpretation.  Joseph again declares the righteousness of God to them in response to the Baker and Butler.  Joseph had dreams with symbols from God when he was younger (Genesis 37) and understood their meaning, so too acted right away on interpreting their dreams showing that God gave Him that wisdom.  Why God gave tees men these dreams?  Ultimately to work His plan for Joseph, being known as the interpreter of dreams of the Ture God.  The Butler doesn't remember Joseph when he gets out of prison, but will bring him to mind later. A lot of things we try to forget when we're in a horrible situation, like this Buttler forgetting Joseph despite the promise given at the time.  What are God's good workings/graces that you've forgotten when you're in difficulties?
