Matthew 4

"and said to Him, 'If you are the son of God, throw Yourself down.  For it is written: 'He shall give His angles charge over you' and 'In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your feet against a stone.'" v.6

Read chapter 4.  Satan quotes scripture! Yet he misquotes it purposely to make it seem so close to the truth but it's not.  Just like he did to Eve in the garden in Genesis 2 by adding and subtracting to God's word to ultimately deceive her.  Same in this chapter, Satan leaves out the quote from Psalm 91 "to keep you in all your ways."  If he would have said that part, it would've been obvious that all God's ways aren't Satan's ways of what Satan was then asking of Him.  The translators also messed up by trying to 'fix' Satan's misquotation by leaving out what he added.  Originally it says "Lest AT ANYTIME  you dash your  foot against a stone."  Adding 'at anytime' make it seem that God wouldn't allow Christ to be crucified then.  They're small changes but no matter how close to the truth it is it's NOT.  Do you know scripture well enough to discern between truth and false truth?
