Job 9

"Truly I know it is so,
But how can a man be righteous before God?" v.2

Read chapter 9
This is the like the thesis of the book of Job, the question of the whole book, "How can a man be righteous before God?"  In other words "How can sinful man ever be treated righteous by his Maker?" Job didn't agreeing with his friends opinions on how he had sinned and been a hypocrite, but he also knows that he is not perfect before God.  He knows that God always wins every debate, every argument, every idea. God is just. Well there is a way that man can be made righteous before God and it's what Job eludes to at the end of this chapter in verse 33 "Nor is there any mediator between us, Who may lay his hand on us both." Do you know who that mediator is that make us righteous?

"and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; "  Philippians 3:9
